Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria has inducted some top government officials and transport sector leaders.

They were inducted at its 2023 National Transport Summit held at Nicon Luxury Hotels in Abuja.

Notable inductees were the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike and Gwarinpa DRTS area commander, Jonathan John Dawa.

They were recognised as Fellows of the Institute along with other dignitaries such as the minister of blue marine economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, the minister of aviation, Festus Keyamo and the minister of works, Dave Umahi.

Wike’s induction signifies the Transport Institute’s aim to foster stronger collaboration with political leaders to formulate effective policies.

Meanwhile, Dawa earned the honour through his outstanding performance as a vehicle inspection officer and spearheading numerous transport advancement initiatives in the FCT.

Dawa described his induction as a reward for his hard work and sacrifice to the transport sector over time.
