He was received by Senator Said Alkali, the minister of transportation, and Mr Michael Oloruntola, the permanent secretary of the Marine and Blue Economy.

Prior to this appointment, Adeoye served as the permanent secretary of the Career Management Office (CMO) at the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation.

In his remarks, Mr Adeoye expressed gratitude for the warm reception extended to him by the management of the transport ministry, which is currently separating from its co-joined Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

He urged the staff of both ministries to work collaboratively towards their shared goal of serving the administration and the Nigerian populace.

He emphasised the importance of dedication and hard work, stating, „I want to encourage every one of us to put in our very best. For every work, there is a reward. There is God that rewards, and when He is going to reward, you may not know,“ he said.
