Troops Kill 4 Terrorists, Recover Weapons In Zamfara

Troops deployed for Operation Hadarin Daji, on Tuesday, killed four terrorists and recovered arms and ammunitions in Zamfara State.

A statement by the Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, said the troops conducted ambush operation to bandits’ hideout at Kumbo village in Bukkuyum local government area of Zamfara State and made contact with bandits.

He said in the fierce firefight that ensued, the troops neutralised four terrorists and recovered four AK47 rifles, two AK47 rifle magazines, 26 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunitions, and four motorcycles, amongst other sundry items.

The military high command commended troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on terrorists and all criminal activities within their area.
