According to the Acting Deputy Director Operation Hadin Kai, Captain Reuben Kovangiya, the terrorists struck in the village at night but met their Waterloo as troops responded to them swiftly.

The military also overpowered and chased the terrorists in Damasak, Mobbar local government area of the state at night where undisclosed number of terrorists were similarly eliminated.

Confirming the Bita success to our correspondent, Captain Kovangiya said the air component of the theatre was still bombarding the terrorists as at the time of filing this report, with more casualties expected on them.
