He said in recent aerial operations, the Force successfully destroyed terrorists’ camps situated across the Cameroonian and Nigerian territories of Lake Chad, where many terrorists were killed and others fleeing into Chad.

Lt.-Col. Abubakar said during the operation, troops destroyed eight vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs) in Arinna ciki and two ammunition bunkers Northeast of Malam Fatori.

In another encounter, Lt.-Col. Abubakar said troops of Sector 2, with the support of the Chadian Rapid Intervention Force neutralised 70 terrorists and dismantled five camps.
