Troops Kill Terrorists, Arrest Errand Boy With 1000 Ammos In Kaduna

Troops deployed for internal security on Monday, April 10, 2023 arrested an errand boy working for terrorists with 1000 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.

The troops also killed two terrorists in Kaduna State.

The Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, said troops of Operation Forest Sanity in conjunction with Defence Headquarters Special Forces acting on credible intelligence  apprehended a bandit leader’s errand boy at Mando community in Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.

He said the errand boy was sent to purchase 1,000 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunitions when troops intercepted him.

He said the troops in a follow-up operation in ambush position engaged bandits on arrival at a collection point with superior fire power and neutralised two bandits .

The troops also recovered two AK47 rifles, six AK47 rifle magazines, 250 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, assorted charms and the sum of N200,000 only, amongst other sundry items.

The military high command commended the troops of Operation FOREST SANITY and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities.
