Troops Nab Terrorists’ Collaborators, Kill 152

Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has said troops on internal operations have destroyed two terrorists commanders’ hideouts and arrested two female collaborators responsible for negotiations with relatives of victims for ransom.

The director of Defence Media Operations Major General Edward Buba in a statement said troops killed 152 terrorists, arrested 109 and rescued 91 hostages.

He said troops during the week carried out operations against  two prominent terrorist commanders and decimated their strongholds.

General Buba identified the terrorists commanders as Sadiku enclave in Tsora Hill in Safana LGA of Katsina State and Alhaji Yusuf enclave at Yadi Forest in Giwa LGA of Kaduna State.

He stated that troops crippled crude oil theft at Bugama, Idama, Cawtorne Channel and Krakrama, all in Rivers State and prevented oil theft of over N795,683,395.00.
