Twin Brothers Arrested For Burglary, Theft

Men of the Ekiti State Police Command have arrested twin brothers for alleged stealing.
They were also accused of receiving stolen from the two teenage suspects.

A statement by the police spokesperson in the state, Sunday Abutu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police said, “On 25/04/2024 at about 08:00hrs, one Olasoji Kehinde and Olasoji Taiwo were arrested while attempting to break a shop at Mathew Street, Odo-Ado, Ado-Ekiti.

“During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the commission of the crime.

‘’They further stated that they were responsible for the burglary of three shops in Fayemi Market at Agric Olope, Ado-Ekiti where they carted away two bags of rice, two bags of beans and other valuables valued ₦936,750:00.

“Further investigation by the Command Rapid Response Squad (RRS) led to the arrest of one Afolayan Funke ‘f’ and Nnaji Benignus Aroh ‘m’ who the suspects claimed have been receiving stolen properties from them”.
