Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has declared the team’s readiness for the UEFA Super Cup clash with Real Madrid.

La Dea will meet Real Madrid in Warsaw on Wednesday night.

Lookman scored a superb hat-trick in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen in May and the Nigerian winger is eager to test himself against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
“Wonderful, these are the games you have wanted to play since you were a child. Finally, the moment has come, we won the Europa League and we will now play for another trophy,” the Nigeria international was quoted by Tribal Football.

“We can’t wait, we are preparing with obsessive attention. So yes, we will be ready!

“We don’t need great motivation, we will face a top team and it’s an appointment with history. They are the greatest team in the world in football, it will be an exciting chapter, an exciting opportunity for everyone. We can’t wait to hear it.”

While Kylian Mbappé is expected to make his Real Madrid debut from the start of the European Super Cup next Wednesday, Atalanta look as if Nicolò Zaniolo and Teun Koopmeiners will miss out.
