United Kingdom’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, revealed plans to hold a mega rally to celebrate the president.

The endorsement took place during a meeting of the group in London.

This is contained in a letter dated May 25  signed by Chief Momoh Y. Obaro and Tunde Doherty, secretary and chairman of the group, respectively.

Addressed to the president through the party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the endorsement letter was delivered to the APC secretary, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, during his recent visit to the U.K. The group also used the occasion to affirm support for the secretary’s governorship ambition in Osun State.

“The APC UK chapter, representing thousands of patriotic Nigerians in the diaspora, stands firmly behind your Renewed Hope Agenda and is confident in your capacity to lead Nigeria to a higher and more prosperous future,” the letter said.
