The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) United Kingdom Chapter has condemned the actions of acting national chairman Umar Iliya Damagun and national secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu, accusing them of betrayal.

In a statement signed by Dr. Anita Jackson, the group demanded the immediate expulsion of Damagun and Anyanwu from the party.

The statement alleged that the duo’s actions are a “cancer” that has infiltrated the party’s highest echelons, and accused them of working to undermine Governor Siminalayi Fubara, one of the party’s top performers, and secretly aligning with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group said if the party is to survive in legal huddles, Damagum and Anyanwu must be expelled because they are plotting to derail the party’s progress, after disregarding the party’s constitution.
