Umar Yabo Lauds Tambuwal Over Sokoto ADC Consensus Guber Candidacy

Hon. Umar Yusuf Yabo, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) member for the Yabo/Shagari constituency in the House of Representatives, has commended Senator Aminu Tambuwal for leading the party to agree on a consensus candidate from the 10 governorship contenders in Sokoto State.

While saying that the ADC is receiving wide acclaim because it aims to redeem ordinary Nigerians from misrule, Yabo said Tambuwal, who has set a precedent by stepping down from an electoral contest, has proven his politics is one of sacrifice, not self-interest.

The Danmajen Yabo also commended his constituents, whom he said contributed to the purchase of the form for him to re-contest, proving that he had delivered in the past by bringing the dividends of democracy to them.

“I have built new hospitals, distributed fertiliser, agricultural inputs to farmers, and in the area of youth empowerment, have distributed motorcycles, created employment opportunities for some of my constituents.

I have also carried out repairs and built new mosques and Islamic schools,” he said.

Yabo called on the youths not to sell their voter cards for food items or clothing, and also told aspirants who lost at the primaries that Allah gives power to whom He wills.
