Unitrust Insurance Company Limited has renovated the Hall it recently donated to the College of Insurance and Financial Management (CIFM), Asese, Ogun State.
The Hall, the insurer said, gives students and professionals in the insurance sector a more comfortable and modern place to learn.
The upgraded hall now has fresh wall coverings and painting, 40 chairs with side tables, six window blinds, 24 light bulbs, a projector for presentations, and a 2.0-horsepower AC unit. The CIFM Boardroom was also touched up with better lighting and waiting facilities.
The launch was led by Unitrust’s managing director, Arowojolu Adedayo, together with the ED, Technical, and the chief marketing officer. It was witnessed by key insurance industry leaders, including Yetunde Ilori, president and chairman of CIIN Council, and ide Orimolade, chairman of the College Board, among other council and board members. Their attendance underlined the partnership between CIFM and Unitrust.
During the ceremony, CIFM presented Unitrust with the Distinguished Partner Award for its support and role in renovating the hall.
In his remarks, Adedayo said that strong institutions are vital in the insurance sector, especially those that prepare society for emergencies and uphold key values. He explained that the partnership between CIFM and Unitrust shows a shared commitment to building industry knowledge, resilience, and professionalism.
With the hall’s new look, CIFM said it is set to serve its students and lecturers better, while strengthening the future of insurance education in Nigeria.
