US Probes Reports Of Russian Missiles Hitting Poland

The United States (US) is said to be investigating reports that Russian missiles have hit Poland, a situation that could drag Washington and other North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) members into the Russia-Ukraine war.

Ukraine President Voldomyr Zelenky yesterday claimed that Russian missiles hit Poland in “significant escalation of conflict.”

Explosion in Poland could mean the UKraine war has spilled into NATO territory even as Belgium has reportedly said “we are all part of the NATO family.”

Russian has however, the alleged missile attack on Poland even as the reports remain unconfirmed.

Meanwhile, Russian forces have continued their assault on Ukraine.

Two people have been killed in an explosion in Przewodow, a village in eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine. Polish authorities have not confirmed the cause of the blast.Russia has launched a new wave of strikes on targets across the country, including in the capital Kyiv and in the western city of Lviv.
