SENSE programme was launched in March 2019, and funded by the  USAID’s education approach of utilising key evidence-based interventions to address some of the challenges facing the education sector in Nigeria.

The challenges targeted to be resolved by the programme include, the poor early grade teaching skills of lower primary teachers as well as lack of data driven teacher professional development strategy to improve teacher capacity.
