The Nenadi Usman-led Labour Party on Tuesday said Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has, within less than three years, redefined governance and set a benchmark for transparency, accountability, and development, adding that he is the party’s pride in the 2023 election.
The party, in a birthday message to the governor, lauded his leadership style and contributions to governance.
Usman described Otti as a leader whose “clear vision and determination” has brought purposeful, people-centered, and transformative governance to Abia State.
She noted that his hands-on approach has made leadership look simple, even in a state that has long struggled with effective administration.
“Your Excellency, as you mark your birthday today, I pray that God continues to endow you with enormous wisdom to pilot the affairs of Abians and to bear the torch for us in the Labour Party,” Usman said.
Usman further described Otti as “the pride of the Labour Party’s outing in the 2023 elections,” adding that his uncommon leadership has earned him the admiration of citizens across Abia and beyond.
She expressed hope that as the nation approaches another election season, Abians would renew the mandate given to him, having witnessed his impactful service.
“On behalf of my family and the entire leadership and members of the Labour Party, I wish you many more happy returns, Your Excellency,” Usman added
