Nigerian social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, alias Verydarkman, has expressed concern for his safety following a public apology from socialite King Mitchy.

The influencer hinted that Mitchy’s apology could be bait intended to mislead the public.

The media had previously reported that King Mitchy had spoken directly to Verydarkman, recognising his campaigning and showing regret for confronting him earlier.

She said, “To VeryDarkMan, my brother, I see what you’re fighting for, you’re fighting for Nigeria, and we can make Nigeria a better place. I’m sorry for coming at you like that. Maybe now I understand you better,”
Adding that he needs more supporters rather than critics in his fight for a better Nigeria.

However, VeryDarkMan has not taken kindly to the apology, as he posted on his Instagram page on Sunday to imply that it has deeper implications.

His response, “This apology from King Mitchy cannot just come from nowhere. During that period, Lege Miami made a direct video about me, but later deleted it, claiming he received calls from above. Her apology has now pointed me in the right direction,” he stated.

The social media influencer went on to claim that he has been particularly targeted, warning that some individuals should be held accountable if anything happens to him.
