The new Vice Chancellor Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University (MOAU), Professor Timothy Terseer Alabar, has met with Benue State governor and visitor to the university, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, to deliberate on the strategic direction and future development of the university.

In a statement issued by the information and public relations unit, the vice-chancellor said the meeting, described as cordial and forward-looking, focused on strengthening institutional growth, improving infrastructure, enhancing academic standards and deepening collaboration between the university and the state government.

According to the statement, Professor Alabar briefed the governor on the current state of the university, its achievements, on-going reforms and areas requiring government support to ensure sustained progress.

Governor Alia reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to reposition tertiary education in the state and assured the vice-chancellor of continued partnership in advancing the vision of the institution.

Both expressed optimism that the renewed synergy between them would consolidate stability, promote academic excellence and place the university on a stronger path of growth and innovation.
