Fashion designer Victoria Beckham is getting candid about her personal struggles with self-confidence and ageing.
In a recent interview with The Times, the 52-year-old admitted that she has spent much of her life battling insecurities and feelings of not being good enough.
“I’ve spent my whole life feeling that I’m not good enough,” the former Spice Girl confessed, adding that one of the best parts of growing older is learning to care less about other people’s opinions.
Speaking about ageing and life in her fifties, Victoria shared that while she spent years disliking her appearance, she has now reached a place of acceptance.
The mother of four also stressed that turning 50 doesn’t mean people should stop striving to look and feel their best.
“That doesn’t mean you have to compromise,” the entrepreneur said. “You can still look good.”
Victoria further revealed that she now exercises even harder than she did in her twenties and thirties, noting that age should never be seen as a limitation.
“Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you’re limited in what you can do. You can achieve great things as you get older,” she added.
