Chairman of Stanel Group and founder, Stanley Uzochukwu Foundation, Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, has called on well-meaning Nigerians to unite and stand up in solidarity with the Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, and the Nigeria Armed Forces.

Dr Uzochukwu made the call in a statement he personally signed on Saturday titled, “Standing Strong With General Christopher Musa: A Beacon Of Courage In Nigeria’s Fight Against Terrorism”.

Recall that Gen Musa disclosed earlier on Thursday at the inaugural annual lecture of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Security Studies (AANISS) in Abuja that half of his team including himself were denied visas by Canadian Embassy.

Reacting to the development, the Nigerian businessman said, “In times of trial, true leaders emerge—not by the volume of their words, but by the weight of their courage. General Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, embodies this truth. His recent clarion call for national unity and resilience, delivered to the National Association of the Institute for Security Studies (AANISS) in Abuja, resonates deeply in a nation weary of conflict yet steadfast in hope.

“Nigeria must stand strong,” he declared, a rallying cry that transcends rhetoric and demands action.

“General Musa’s unwavering commitment was further displayed during his bold Al Jazeera interview, where he confronted a global audience with an uncomfortable truth: the lifeline of terrorism lies in its funding. For over 15 years, Boko Haram’s reign of terror has persisted, sustained not by ideology alone but by shadowy financial networks.

“If we expose and cut off their resources, we end this war,” he opined, urging the United Nations to scrutinize these financial channels. His words were not just a plea but a challenge to the international community—a demand for accountability long overdue.

“Validation came swiftly. U.S. Congressman Scott Perry’s revelation that USAID funds, intended for humanitarian aid, were funneled to terrorist organizations underscores the gravity of General Musa’s claims. This discovery cum subtle admission is both a vindication and a call to action. For Nigerians, it reaffirms that our struggles are not borne in isolation but are entangled in global complicity.

“General Musa’s courage to “speak truth to power,” irrespective of diplomatic fallout, marks him as a patriot of the highest order. In a world where silence is often safer, his voice echoes with the resolve of a leader who prioritizes nation over nuance.

“To every Nigerian: this is our fight. Let us unite in support through prayers, advocacy, and unwavering faith in those who defend our borders. Let us stand in solidarity with General Musa and our Nation’s armed forces, whose sacrifices guard our tomorrow.

“Our nation’s strength lies not in the absence of fear, but in the courage to confront it. May God bless Our armed forces, General Musa and the indomitable spirit of Nigeria. Together, we shall prevail,” the international businessman stated.
