VP Shettima Arrives Lagos For 2025 COAS Conference

Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, has arrived Lagos on Monday morning as Special Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony of the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference 2025, holding at Nebo Hall, Abalti Barracks, Ojuelegba, Lagos.

The conference, themed “Examining the Current Landscape of Terrorism Through the Lenses of Diplomatic and Military Actions: Strategies for Long-term Prevention and Stabilization,” is a knowledge-sharing session aimed at enhancing the military’s professional excellence and service to the nation and Africa.

The Vice President, who is expected to declare the event open, will highlight the federal government’s favourable disposition to Nigeria’s ongoing military operations.

According to a post on Facebook by the Vice President’s media aide, Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima was received on arrival by the deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr. Femi Hamzat and other officials.
