The tournament will take place in Morocco, where Ajibade and her teammates aim to redeem themselves after losing the crown to South Africa’s Banyana Banyana in the previous iteration of the competition.

The Super Falcons boast an impressive record in WAFCON history, being the most successful team with a total of nine titles.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Super Falcons show, Ajibade conveyed her optimism, stating,

“There’s a lot of confidence in camp and we’re committed to our goal. We all understand what’s at stake.”
