Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has shown a deep commitment towards the development of Gombe State since his assumption of office in 2019. One of his primary goals is to improve the standard of living of the people by providing essential amenities such as clean and safe drinking water. The water expansion project project is a testament to his vision and dedication towards achieving this goal.

To achieve this goal, Jidadu Ventures Limited, a reputable construction and engineering firm, was awarded the contract. The company has extensive experience in executing large-scale infrastructure projects and is well-equipped to handle the complexities associated with water reticulation.

Once completed, the water reticulation project will have a profound impact on the lives of the people in the state. Improved water accessibility will not only improve the health and well-being of the population but also contribute to the overall development of the state.

Work has reached significant level of completion at the sites for the construction of 3 mega water booster stations in Gombe being constructed as part of the ongoing rehabilitation, expansion and upgrade of Gombe Regional Water Supply Project.

The booster stations are located at Tumfure and adjacent NTA both along Gombe-Bauchi Road as well Shango on the Gombe- Kano road by-pass.
