Rivers State Governor Siminalaye Fubara has said his administration is mindful of success and would avoid the path of failure, just as it is committed to providing good governance and delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
Fubara spoke yesterday at Government House, Port Harcourt, after the swearing-in the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo.
Danagogo, who hails from Akuku-Toru local government area of the state, was in the same position in the immediate-past administration of Nyesom Wike.
Also sworn-in were the new Chief of Staff, Hon. Chidi Amadi and a commissioner-designate, Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh.
Fubara re-appointed the immediate-past Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo.
Danagogo, who hails from Akuku-Toru local government area of the state, served as SSG in the greater part of the eight-year tenure of Nyesom Wike.
Fubara, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Thursday night by his media aide, Boniface Onyedi, also announced the appointment of chairman of the PDP in Obio/Akpor local government area, Hon. Chidi Amadi, as Chief of Staff.
Of the 14 commissioners so far appointed and sworn-in the governor, 10 were Wike’s appointees.
