The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) in Benue State has said as professionals saddled with the responsibility of saving lives and ensuring sound health of citizens across the globe, they will continue to work to build a healthier, more resilient country and the world.
NMA chairman Dr Ushakuma Anenga who disclosed this in a congratulatory message to his members and all health workers on the world over to commemorate the International Doctors’ Day, urged them to always remember their call to save lives so as to remain committed in the field of medicine.
He said, “Today is International Doctors’ Day, a day to honour and celebrate the contributions of doctors and healthcare workers all around the world.
“On this special day, I would extend my deepest gratitude to all doctors and healthcare workers in Benue State, Nigeria and around the world, for your unwavering commitment and dedication to the field of medicine”
“Let us continue to work together to build a healthier, more resilient world and may we always remember the tremendous impact that doctors and healthcare workers have on the lives of so many,” he said.
