“Being the Grand Patron of this body is a role that I am ready to play. And I want to assure you all that I will, to the best of my power, support the association and the players to excel and bring out the best in everyone,” he said.

To practically show his support and commitment, Ambassador Marshall Jonathan Ojadah, donated a lump sum of money to the Spartan Eagles of Nigeria, and called out his friends among the guests at the event to support his gesture. Within a few minutes, his financial support, was doubled to the joy and happiness of the excos and members of Spartan Football Club at the event.

The event witnessed speeches and commendations from the exco members of Spartan Eagles of Nigeria and some special guests of honour.
