Dekunle Okunrinboye, a renowned entrepreneur and Chairman of DK Industries Group has opened up on the importance of forging the right partnerships in order to thrive in business.

“When it comes to partnerships that has fostered growth and success in my business, I can boldly tell you the list is endless. The whole idea of business is to formulate relationships that could strengthen your business. I have formed partnership with government officials, Uniform officers, Private Investors, stakeholders, clients, colleagues” , he said.

Emphasizing on forging the right businesses connections, he said:’Contracts mostly are not awarded because of track records but because of connection and relationships. Although it’s important you have the skill and resources to execute a contract, what differentiates and favors you above others is the personal relationship and partnership you have formed over time with the contractor.

“I no longer experience task force delays and petty frustrations in my businesses, NURTW union workers no longer cause trouble when they spot my trailers, and this is due to partnerships I have formed over time

The DK Industries group was established as a haulage business in 2015, following an exit from his previous company Team of Dedicated Achievers LTD. (TODA) an entertainment, lifestyle and hospitality company where he rose to the highest position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), before bowing out to create his own company.

In 2019, DK Industries approached OK Foods Ltd. to help them in distributing their goods across the Northern part of Nigeria, a proposal that was approved.

DK Industries has since then evolved into other business segments, like commodities, Real Estate, Entertainment, Oil & Gas and basic investments.
