Why Tinubu Will Sweep South East Votes In 2027 – APC Group

President Bola Tinubu will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 presidential election, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared.

In a joint statement issued on Monday by its South East coordinators, the group said Tinubu’s growing popularity, anchored on what it described as the “economy-revamping and nation-rebuilding effects” of his policies, would guarantee him overwhelming support across the country, particularly in the South East.

The coordinators — Chief Henry Ikoh (Abia), Chief Okey Ezenwa (Anambra), Barr. Kelechi Igwe (Ebonyi), Barr. George Ogara (Enugu), and Rt. Hon. Opiah Goodluck (Imo) — assured the President of massive votes from the zone in 2027.

They noted that Tinubu’s scheduled visit to Imo State on Tuesday, as part of activities to mark the APC’s 10th anniversary in office, would provide an opportunity for him to “feel the famed warmth of the South East and witness the massive support of the people of the zone.”

According to the group, the President, who will be hosted by Governor Hope Uzodinma in Owerri, is also expected to commission landmark projects executed by the Imo State governor, who doubles as Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and leader of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

Describing Tinubu as “the father of our nation and the transformer of our era,” the group said the South East was “excited to receive the President” and eager to demonstrate its loyalty to his administration.

“This visit to the South East Zone is significant, being a major activity to mark the historic anniversary and celebration of the impactful 10 years of the APC in power, especially in the last two years of President Tinubu in the saddle,” the statement read.

The group praised the President’s economic policies, saying they were inspiring positive action among Nigerians at home and in the diaspora. They also commended Uzodinma for championing the Renewed Hope Agenda in the zone.

Assuring Tinubu of “unflinching support” in the 2027 polls, the group said: “Indeed, the South East wants to vote massively for President Tinubu in 2027 to sit at the front of the table in the equitable distribution of resources and infrastructure. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors therefore reassure Mr. President of the love, loyalty, and support of the overwhelming majority of the leaders and people of the South East and Nigerians in the 2027 presidential election.”

They added that their campaign machinery would be mobilised under Uzodinma’s leadership to ensure Tinubu records a sweeping victory not just in the South East but across the federation.
