The director of Commercial and Communications, News Central, Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, has been recognised among the 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications in Nigeria by the Women in Marketing and Communications Award (WIMCA) 2025.
The recognition, announced during the recent WIMCA 2025 ceremony, celebrates women who have made outstanding contributions to the marketing and communications industry across Africa.
Egabor-Afolahan, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience, was honoured for her exceptional leadership, innovative strategies, and commitment to impactful storytelling. Her work spans multiple industries and has continued to set new standards for excellence in marketing and communications.
In her remarks, Egabor-Afolahan said she appreciated the WIMCA selection committee and her team at News Central for their support. “I am truly grateful to everyone who made this possible, and to my team for the love and support in achieving all we continuously aspire to do. It’s always amazing to see our work get recognition, and it always pushes us to do more,” she said.
