Senator Jiya at the event said bringing such training to the grassroots was to stimulate economic growth among rural dwellers.

He said if the participants could put into practice what they had learnt, the aim of the government in promoting financial literacy and inclusion would be achieved.

The senator, represented by Alhaji Ibrahim Yakubu, maintained that the participants would be supported with seeds for investment.

He added that a monitoring mechanism had been put in place to ensure that they utilise the knowledge gained.
