LEADERSHIP reports that recently the bridge collapsed as a result of flood in the area.

Many communities  were cut off for several days following the flood which also destroyed houses.

Niger State governor,  Mohammed Umaru Bago, while on a visit to the area, said President Bola Tinubu had given a directive to the minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, to commence the reconstruction of the bridge, and work has commenced.
