Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has pledged his administration’s continued support for young men and women in various sectors to help them achieve their aspirations.

He made this known yesterday when he received Ibrahim Mohammed Nasir, the ‘Gwarzon Shekara’ in Quranic recitation, who also secured the second position in the World Quranic Recitation Competition held in Saudi Arabia.

Governor Bala congratulated the three Quranic reciters for bringing honour to Bauchi State and Nigeria and assured them of his continued support.

He urged them to represent Bauchi State and Nigeria well by focusing on their studies for sustainable growth and development.

Nasir and two other reciters have been awarded scholarships to study in India, a gesture facilitated by the State Commissioner for Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation, Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza.

Hamza praised Governor Mohammed for his generosity, noting that all necessary expenses for the students’ success have been covered.

Gwarzon Shekara and Ibrahim Muhammad Nasir are to study Cyber Security while the other two, Amar Muhamed Mansur and Aisha Mohammed Ahmed will study Medical Laboratory Technology and Cardiovascular technology respectively.
