The vice president Ahmed Karim made this announcement at the inaugural “End of the Year Business and Networking Cocktail: Urban Elegance,” held at the WTC Abuja.

Karim acknowledged the economic challenges in Nigeria but underscored the resilience and adaptability of the World Trade Center Abuja. The event, centred on the theme “Urban Elegance,” aimed to celebrate the year’s achievements and foster meaningful connections among clients, partners, trade associations, and the diplomatic community.

In a statement at the event, Karim said, “The ‘End of the Year Business and Networking Cocktail’ is an ode to connection, a celebration of the bridges we build and the relationships that define our journey.

“Our theme, ‘Urban Elegance,’ is more than just a phrase—it’s a reflection of the sophistication, diversity, and dynamism that define Abuja’s business landscape. Beyond brick and mortar, we unfold a canvas of Trade services—event planning, B2B matchmaking, networking—a mosaic of resources catering to the diverse palette of your business needs.”

Addressing the operational status of the World Trade Center Abuja and its Trade Services Department, Karim emphasised the necessity for brand integration through strategic events. He expressed the importance of allowing potential clients and partners to experience the full spectrum of the WTC Abuja real estate brand.

He announced the completion of the project’s first phase, highlighting the WTC Abuja’s operational readiness and its anticipation of new opportunities in 2024.

He discussed the evolving business landscape, emphasising the WTC’s commitment to flexible solutions, including co-working spaces and customisable real estate options.

The general manager of Operations at the WTC, Ibukun Adeogun, affirmed the WTC Abuja’s open-for-business status after overcoming delays. Adeogun detailed the diverse offerings, including luxury residences, offices, upcoming hotel towers, convention centres, and shopping malls.

He envisioned a comprehensive environment where individuals can both work and reside.

“Looking ahead, Nigerians and property enthusiasts can anticipate the Churchgate Group’s continued commitment to excellence and innovation. We remain dedicated to shaping the future of luxury real estate in Nigeria, introducing iconic developments that redefine the landscape.

“Our focus includes expanding our portfolio, embracing sustainable practices, and contributing significantly to the growth and transformation of Nigeria’s real estate sector.
