Marketing Manager at Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC), Yewande Abigail Ade-Alao, has been named among the prestigious Brandcom “35 Under 35” marketing professionals, an honour reserved for young innovators shaping the future of Nigeria’s marketing and communications landscape.

The 35 Under 35 category recognises fast-rising professionals who have demonstrated exceptional creativity, strategic insight, and measurable impact within the period under review. Organised by Brand Communicator, the award highlights young talents whose work continues to strengthen brands, influence consumer culture, and contribute significantly to the growth of the nation’s marketing ecosystem.

Yewande, widely regarded as one of the most transformational young leaders in the FMCG sector, earned this recognition through an impressive record of high-impact campaigns and strategic brand stewardship. As Senior Brand Manager, she successfully managed a diverse portfolio of eight brands across the beverage and home & personal care categories, a feat that showcased her versatility, leadership, and deep understanding of consumer behaviour.

Her strategic direction and partnerships played a crucial role in driving double-digit growth for the Supa Komando brand, elevating its presence and performance in a highly competitive market. Her leadership also strengthened category performance, contributing significantly to SBC’s overall business growth.

One of her most outstanding achievements during the 2024–2025 review period was her pivotal role in the successful execution of the SBC–Lagos City Marathon 2025 partnership. Yewande expertly managed complex logistics and led cross-functional teams to deliver the project with an unprecedented On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) performance, one of the successful execution in the partnership’s ten-year history.

Her career trajectory reflects consistent excellence. Before joining SBC, Yewande revitalised the declining Regal Gin brand at Grand Oak Limited, delivering double-digit growth in only six months after a decade-long slump, a turnaround widely praised in the industry.

Her academic and professional grounding is equally solid. She holds a B.Sc. in Physiology from the University of Lagos, a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration from Humber College, Canada, and several professional certifications, including a Distinction from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and advanced strategic marketing credentials from the Lagos Business School.

Her recognition as one of Brandcom’s “35 Under 35” cements her position as a rising force in Nigeria’s marketing industry and a testament to the transformative power of young leadership.
