Yobe Council On Ease Of Doing Business Rolls Out Investor Attraction Measures

The Yobe State Deputy Governor who is also the state Chairman Council of Ease of Doing Business (CEDB), Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin fune) has presided over the second meeting of the council with far reaching decisions on measures that will attract investors into the state.

Gubana, while speaking on the meeting, said the meeting was organised to develop strategies that will attract investments, provide necessary support and create an investor-friendly ecosystem across the state.

The meeting according to a statement from the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Hussaini Mai Sule equally discussed the challenges encountered on the implementation of the SEBAR PROGRAMME among others.

At the end of the meeting, the council resolved to liaise with the office of the head of service for the appointment of desk officers in each of the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to coordinate the reforms/SEBAR PROGRAMME in the state.

“Similarly, the meeting agreed to invite the Nigeria investment promotion council NIPC to Yobe State to pave the way for the investors to do business in the state.
