Yobe Gets New Head Of Service 

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Alhaji Tonga Betara as Head of Service.

Betara’s appointment followed the retirement of his predecessor, Alhaji Hamidu Alhaji, after reaching the mandatory 60 years of service.

Secretary to the Yobe State government, Baba Malam Wali disclosed this to LEADERSHIP in Damaturu, the state capital.

Until his appointment, Alhaji Betara was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment.

The appointment is with immediate effect.
