“The Objectives of the Two-Day Town Hall Engagement with Youth, Students and Stakeholders was to provide a clear understanding of reconciliation and reintegration. Present case studies and best practices from successful programmes and create a platform for open discussion among students and stakeholders.

“It also meant to encourage sharing of personal experiences, challenges, and perspectives. Highlight the main obstacles to reconciliation and reintegration. Explore opportunities and strategies to address these challenges. Ensure that students’ voices and experiences are heard and valued.

“Similarly, the measure was meant to gather input and recommendations from youth for future actions. Engage various sectors (education, health, justice) in discussions on their roles. Foster a collaborative approach to reconciliation and reintegration,” the ES stated.

Goje further stated that at the end of the meeting, the participants are expected to take home messages and key lessons on Reconciliation and Reintegration of post conflict and disseminate it across their communities and Networks.
