Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has completed all arrangements for the 2026 Hajj Pilgrimage for 1337 intending pilgrims.

The Executive Secretary of the Commission Alhaji Mai Aliyu Usman Biriri , disclosed this while answering questions from journalists on this year’s Hajj exercise at his office in Damaturu.

He said the Commission has organised a series of activities to educate and enlighten the state intending pilgrims for the 2026 hajj exercise.

The executive secretary said Yobe State stands as one of the states that is working exceptionally hard to ensure that sustainable development is achieved in the areas of improving pilgrims’ welfare.

Alhaji Mai Aliyu Biriri commended Governor Mai Mala Buni , for his tireless efforts and dedication in supporting the state pilgrims’ commission in the successful discharge of its responsibilities.

Addressing intending pilgrims on the preparations so far made by the commission, the chairman called on them to be good ambassadors of the state and the country in general while in the holy land of Saudi Arabia by being law-abiding.
