Nigerian actor, Lukmon Abayomi Fabiyi, also known as ‘Yomi Fabiyi’, has renewed his call for a fresh investigation into the death of late singer Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Imole Aloba.

The actor, who has repeatedly demanded justice for the singer, recently submitted a petition urging authorities to reopen parts of the case.

In an Instagram post, he shared screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations involving Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, and another individual.

Fabiyi claimed the messages contained statements in which Wunmi allegedly expressed fears that certain facts would become public.

He also shared other alleged chats involving a person identified as Temmi. According to the actor, the conversations raised questions he believes should be investigated by law enforcement agencies.

The actor further cited claims from Mohbad’s brother, Adura, the driver who reportedly took the singer to his final performance, and the singer’s mother.

Fabiyi alleged that these accounts suggested there had been disagreements before Mohbad’s death.

He called on the police to thoroughly investigate the allegations and urged authorities to ensure justice is served.

In the caption, Yomi wrote:

This is Omowunmi Cynthia Adebanjo (Mohbad’s fiancée) in October 2024, secretly discussing and confessing to one of her online paid criminal agents and cyberbullies.
