“Some of the benefits of the app include being able to chat, share videos, pictures and On Afrister, you can connect with like-minded people from all over the world, chat with them in real-time, and even buy and sell goods and services. And if you’re a content creator, you can earn money from your content through the platform. and also a user can earn points depending on how their engagement is on app, they can turn their point into money.

The App is safe because more authentication has been put in place to protect end-to-end encryption of private chat between users,” Ishaq said.

He stated that the app is built in a way to protect users’ information and privacy.

“We have privacy settings which is built for the purpose. User phone numbers are not also visible to other users and personal information is not visible.

“We have the admin panel for the team use. They can see any posts and other things but cannot see the chat conversations. We can delete videos, and pictures, if there is a report, an account can also be deleted after scrutiny by the admin. Also, users’ pages can be modified. Misinformation and fake news can be handled and taken down when users report issues and we confirm them as fake. Same goes for gory contents”, Ishaq also said.
