First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has commended Nigerian workers for their resilience and dedication, saying their daily efforts drive the country’s growth and development.
In her message to mark the 2026 Workers’ Day, she extended warm greetings and deep appreciation to workers across the nation, acknowledging their contributions to national progress.
“Today, we celebrate the resilience, dedication, and invaluable contributions of our workers, whose daily efforts drive the growth and development of our country,” she said.
She noted that workers across different sectors, including public servants, private-sector professionals, artisans, and entrepreneurs, labour tirelessly and remain the backbone of the nation’s progress.
The First Lady also commended trade unions for their advocacy for workers’ well-being and appreciated their cooperation in strengthening the workforce. She wished all Nigerians a happy Workers’ Day.
