Following the recent incident in Tudun-Biri village in Kaduna State, the Northern Youth Empowerment & Enlightenment Forum (NYEEF) has condoled families affected and called for a thorough investigation into the incident.

Secretary of the security committee, Salihu Dantata Mahmod in a statement expressed sadness, saying the incident ran counter to the principles of peace and unity.

NYEEF condemned the act, describing it as reprehensible and called for a comprehensive, impartial and transparent investigation into the circumstances.

The organisation emphasised the need for accountability, urging authorities to ensure that those responsible are held in accordance with existing laws.

It urged the federal government to urgently address the medical needs of all affected victims and provide due compensation to the families of the deceased.
