Youth Summit 2023: Eminent Nigerians Nominated For Youth Development Awards

Several prominent Nigerians dedicated to youth development have been selected as nominees to receive Youth Development Awards at the upcoming Nigeria Youth Summit, scheduled for August 10th, 2023.

– Dr. Elvis L. Abuyere, Managing Director of Skywise Group

– Chief Uba Michael, Chairman of Ubancle

Mr. Igweshi Augustine, the chairman of the organizing committee, shared that the primary objective of the 2nd edition of the Nigeria Youth Summit and Award is to explore the aspirations of Nigerian youth in advancing innovation, entrepreneurship, and national cohesion. The summit aims to acknowledge distinguished Nigerians who have been contributing and supporting youth development across various spheres of life and endeavors.

 

Mr. Augustine stated that the Nigeria Youth Summit seeks to provide insights into the entrepreneurial and innovative aspirations of Nigerian youths while addressing the challenges they face. Additionally, the summit serves as a transformational roadmap and a catalyst for unleashing the untapped potential of Nigeria’s youth population. By embracing youth-led innovation and creating an enabling ecosystem, Nigeria can unlock its full economic and social potential while empowering the next generation of innovators and change-makers.

 

The summit, titled “Nigerian Youth Summit,” is intended to bring together Nigerian youths and stakeholders under one umbrella to advance the future and prosperity of Nigeria. Mr. Augustine emphasized that the dreams, aspirations, and challenges of the youth are critical for positive change and the country’s development.

 

**Why Nigeria Youth Summit?**

With over 60% of Nigeria’s population being young people with diverse talents and potentials, this summit will gather thought leaders, government agencies, entrepreneurs, practitioners from both private and public sectors, and young Nigerians with various backgrounds and innovations to engage in a nationwide conversation about advancing youth development, their aspirations, and inclusion in leadership.

 

The summit will also honor the achievements of several outstanding individuals, including:

– Mr. Nicky Jonas, CEO of Foretec Investment

Moreover, the event will feature the participation of Amb Abdulganiyu Suleiman, CEO of Log Apartment in Abuja, Nigeria; Chief Kenneth Ifekudu, MD of Diamond Leeds LTD; Dominic Onyeka Eluagu, CEO of Barcity Properties Limited; and Usman Sojaboy, a 90-Day Fiance Cast Member, Singer, and Movie Actor.

 

The Nigeria Youth Summit is poised to become a pivotal event in driving positive change and growth for Nigeria’s youth, fostering innovation, and encouraging the realization of their aspirations on a national scale.
