The candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the coming November 8, 2025 Anambra State governorship election, Sir Paul Chukwuma has emerged as the first to pay the mandatory N50 million charged every political party before they can campaign in any part of the 21 local government areas of the state for support in the election.

A total of 16 out of the 19 registered political parties were cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to participate in the governorship election.

The deputy governorship candidate of the YPP, Chief Uzu Okagbue received the receipt for the payment of the fee described  as “Out-of-Home Promotions and Visual Campaign Political Permit from the Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA) ahead of the 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election scheduled for November 8th, 2025.”
