Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Yul Edochie, has thrown his weight behind Afrobeats icon, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia formerly called 2face, as the legendary singer battles public scrutiny over his crumbling marriage to Annie Idibia.
The “African Queen” crooner, whose 13-year marriage to Annie Idibia was riddled with controversies, from infidelity rumors to public emotional breakdowns, recently announced that the union had quietly collapsed and that he and Annie had already been separated for a while, with divorce now imminent.
In a no-holds-barred post, Yul lashed out at critics, questioning their moral authority to judge another man’s marriage.
Yul Edochie wrote;
“Anybody insulting 2Baba or calling him out bcos of his family matter wey no concern you, THUNDER FIRE YOU!!!”
Angry fans stormed Yul Edochie’s comment section, unleashing a torrent of criticism as they lambasted him for defending 2Baba.
