Zamfara Gov Appoints Sole Administrators, Secretaries For LGs

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has approved the appointment of sole administrators for 14 local government areas of the state.

The sole administrators were appointed alongside secretaries and supervisory councilors.

In a statement issued in Gusau yesterday, the spokesman of the governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said they were carefully selected based on their past achievements and track records.

He said: “They include; Bashar Musa Anka for the Anka; Sa’idu Danbala for Bakura; Isiyaka Ibrahim (Majasirdin Birnin Magaji) for Birnin Magaji; Nasiru Muhammad for Bukkuyum; Nura Umar Bungudu for Bungudu; Aminu Nuhu for Gummi; Yahaya Garba for Gusau.

“Others are; Kasimu Sani Kaura for Kauran Namoda; Yahaya Giwa Maradun for Maradun; Yusuf Sani Bindi for Maru; Lukman Jafar for Talatan Mafara; Aliyu Adamu Barmo for Tsafe; Junaidu Muhammad Barade for Shinkafi and Aminu Atiku Zurmi for Zurmi local government area. The appointments are for six months and are subject to confirmation by the Zamfara State House of Assembly.
