“Being there and doing things for the community is not something new to us.  It has been happening in this house since before I was born. With this honour, I will try to up my game, do better and do more. Inshaa Allah, I will not disappoint them,” he said.

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Jibril Muhammad Magaji, the Hakimin Kawo (District Head of Kawo), who presided over the ceremony, also appointed the new titleholder to his council, a development many attendees described as a reflection of his growing influence and commitment to community development.

Also speaking at the event, former Senator representing Kano North and renowned politician, Senator El-Jibril Doguwa, thanked Allah and the traditional institution for the recognition accorded to the young philanthropist.

“Garkuwan Unguwan Dosa is our son.  We sincerely appreciate what has been done for him.  His honour has shown how important he is.  ” We encourage him to continue assisting the less privileged and sustaining his humanitarian activities,” he said.

Family members described the turbaning as a well-deserved recognition for a man whose life has been defined by service and compassion.

Barr.  Hoda Ethnam described Suleiman as a blessing to both his family and the community.

“He is a good man and a gift to the family and community.  The honour being bestowed on him today reflects the impact he has had on people’s lives. “We pray that God will continue to strengthen him to do more,” she said.

According to her, the new title holder has promoted unity among communities through sports and other social engagements.

“He has touched many lives and brought recognition to Unguwan Dosa.  Through football and his relationship with people, he has helped bring communities together.  People from Malali, Sabo and other parts of Kaduna came here to celebrate with him. It is good for the community”.

A friend of the honouree, Daniel Ibrahim, said the title would further spur him to expand his humanitarian interventions.

“This is just an icing on the cake.” We e expect more humanitarian gestures, more medical outreaches and more opportunities for the less privileged,” he said.

The ceremony featured colourful horse-riding displays, cultural performances and goodwill messages from dignitaries and well-wishers, turning the occasion into a celebration of service, unity and community spirit.

For many residents of Unguwan Dosa and beyond, the turbaning of Suleiman Ubale was not merely the conferment of a traditional title but a recognition of a life dedicated to service and a challenge to continue touching lives and fostering unity among communities.
