Zeenab Foods Limited, operators of the Nigerian Exporters Hub and the Nigeria Export Trade House, China/Far East in partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on Thursday commissioned the second batch export of agro-commodities.

LEADERSHIP reports that 20 containers of ginger and sesame seeds worth USD1.5million would be exported to the trade house in China.

To further drive youth participation in the export value chain, Zeenab Foods Ltd is also collaborating with National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) and also used the occasion to enlighten them further on the rudiments of exportation

Speaking at the ceremony in Abuja, Chairman, Zeenab Foods Ltd, Mr. Victor Ayemere, said last year, the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) representing the federal government, appointed the company to set up and operate a Nigeria export trade house in China.

“We have done everything possible to make sure we commission it. But because of the COVID situation in China and the travel restrictions that has not been possible.

“But recently, the Chinese government removed the travel restriction and we are now ready to go over there to let them know we are ready to start bringing our export commodities.
