The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) in collaboration with Zeenab Foods Limited (Operators of the Nigerian Export Trade House China/Far- East Region) commissions the Youth For Export Programme (YEP) and the Nigerian Exporters Hub (NEXHUB) today, 16th August, 2023 at the NEPC Conference Hall, NEPC Headquarters, Abuja.

The ‘Youth for Export’ Programme (YEP) forms the crux of this event, aiming to empower and equip the youths to become export champions by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to participate in the competitive global market space. It also provides a veritable platform, which is the Nigerian Exporters Hub to help harness the innovation and creativity of young entrepreneurs through handholding exercises, sensitization, guiding and off-taking benefits.

Mr Victor Ayemere, the managing director/CEO of Zeenab Foods Limited expressed his joy on the launch of the Nigerian Exporters Hub (NEXHUB) and Youth For Export Program(YEP). He urged youths to do export with NEXHUB as they will be guided on what to export, how to export, where to export and also provide them verified off-takers to become non-oil export champions.

The occasion saw a gathering of esteemed dignitaries, including the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Representatives of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development among other noble guests.

Speaking at the event, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), Brig. Gen YD Ahmed expressed his pride in being part of this initiative tailored to equip Nigerian youths for the competitive global market. He was delighted that corps members who have already exported will receive dollar checks through Zeenab Foods Limited. He further urged youths to take advantage of this opportunity and become export champions.
