Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has described his one-hour meeting with United States President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, as “productive.”
Zelenskyy said discussions centred on the peace plan proposed by the Trump administration and Ukraine’s air defence capabilities.
Announcing the meeting on X, the Ukrainian leader said both presidents “discussed the work of our teams,” noting that they were now meeting and communicating “practically every day.”
“Our previous meeting with President Trump helped strengthen the protection of our skies, and I hope that this time we will reinforce it further as well,” Zelenskyy added.
